Description

Creating my own Clue game... this is the third I've worked on. In this version, Mr. Boddy has passed away and 18 of his friends, family, and staff have gathered for the reading of the will. But some people get jipped. You have to figure out who the murderer is, who the victim is, where the murder occurred, and what weapon was used.

These, obviously, are the possible victims.

Mr. Maximilian Cherry’s father worked as a gardener for Mr. Boddy for years, and when it came time, Cherry himself took over his father’s job. Where his father specialized in complicated, rosebush mazes, Cherry had a fondness for topiary statues and trimmed and nursed an entire topiary garden, including a remarkable reconstruction of Mr. Boddy’s head, nearly ten feet tall. Cherry developed a crush on Miss Peach at a young age and despite his status as a lowly gardener, Mr. Boddy always fancied that Cherry would one day be part of the family…

Although she was born during her parents’ vacation to Paris, Mademoiselle Angelique Gold is hardly French. Still, she insists on the fancy title. She came under Mr. Boddy’s employment as a maid a few years ago, after Mrs. White became a full-time cook and after Mrs. Crabtree left. With her saucy attitude and forged French accent, Gold easily swayed Mr. Boddy into hiring her and giving her double the salary Mrs. White had even imagined. Despite her gold-digging flirtations with Mr. Boddy, she never had a serious interest in him. His butler always had a much more mysterious appeal…

Mr. Boddy’s fat, old cat Snowball has been with him since the Boddy Organization was merely a dream. Adopted by Mr. Boddy while he was in college, this white Persian kitty has outlived his longevity by too many years to seem natural. Purebred and spoiled beyond all reason, Snowball spends his days lounging about Boddy Mansion and its gardens, much to the dismay of the servants. Mlle. Gold practically strangled the cat on more than one occasion upon discovering that the Lounge had been covered with white fur. But Mr. Boddy still insisted on embedding Snowball’s collar with diamonds…

Hailing from Great Britain, Mrs. Beryl Crabtree was hired as a housekeeper years ago when Mrs. White took over as a nurse. She kept the Mansion spick and span, night after night, party after party, for many years before Mr. Boddy’s mother forced him to fire her. As it turned out, prim and proper Crabtree had been primly and properly stealing priceless family heirlooms all of these years. But she and Mr. Boddy remained on good terms, as he had never cared about those silly antiques. She always held out hope that upon Mrs. Black’s death, Mr. Boddy would hire her again…

Mr. Boddy and Captain Victor Navy met in the Curry Military Academy and bonded over the years, amid nasty meals, strict rules, and deep conversations. They went on to become roommates together at the Pratt School at the University of Landis Lynn. Boddy studied economics, Navy studied engineering, and together they built a brilliant plan to build and market an indestructible passenger liner, the largest boat in the world. But that was nearly forty years ago, and plans for the Titanic II have faded. But Navy went on to captain a cruise line, and has always kept in touch with his pal, Boddy…

Ms. Nicole Mauve is the eldest daughter of the founder of the Mauve Hotels Corporation. She blended in with the background next to her sister, Tiffany, America’s favorite spoiled brat, and married Mr. Boddy twenty years ago in hopes of making a name for herself. She rose to the top, as Vice President of Interior Design for the Boddy Organization, but after ten years, she realized she was nothing more than a trophy wife and filed for a divorce. Not long after, Mauve signed on with the Debra Hill Agency and developed lines of clothing, jewelry, and beauty products, with little success…

Having graduated high school, Mr. Neil Ciders attended a butler school in London, England before being hired by Mr. Boddy. Ciders often travled with Mr. Boddy, so he could attended his employer’s needs everywhere he went. From the start of Mlle. Gold’s employment as a maid at Boddy Mansion, she and Ciders have had an on-and-off fling, resulting in some tension and awkward moments due to Mr. Boddy’s apparent ignorance of the situation. Although never quite as attentive to his duties as Mrs. White, Ciders did an efficient job and, more importantly, was a dear friend to Mr. Boddy…

From the very beginning, Mrs. Dorothy Black was not afraid to pull the “aging mother” card. She divorced Mr. Boddy’s father and remarried the wealthy Dr. Benjamin Black before Mr. Boddy was three years old. She wanted her son to follow in his stepfather’s footsteps and become a physician – “There’s money in the doctor business.” But Mr. Boddy proved himself to his mother by founding the world’s most successful real estate developer. She never approved of any of Mr. Boddy’s choices, from his selected university to his selected wives, but was proud of her sonny-boy nevertheless…
