My school does a contest every year for the poster for the musical. My freshman year I entered the Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat contest and lost, even though my poster was amazing. For Footloose and The Wizard of Oz, they restricted the contest to the Music Business class. Well, this year I'm in the Music Business class so I get to enter again.
And the show this year is Into the Woods, which is my favorite musical. I'm auditioning for the Baker.
This is adorable!! Great job! My HS is also doing Into the Woods this year, and I love the actual work so much but we're really raping it (i.e. cutting out the second act). Because the cast didn't start rehearsing early enough and didn't put in effort when they actually started to. Also, the winning poster design sucks (it's more or less plagiarized from the official art, with the book and branches), even though a couple of entries were good. So, again, great job with this. I sort of wish you went to my school.
We want to know what love means to you!
Get your creative juices flowing and design a movie poster for "Paper Heart" that focuses on the theme "What Does Love Mean to Me?".
The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
